The Story Behind GLOV N

Hi, I’m Linda Carter, the founder and creator of GLOV N the patented wearable glove technology designed so you Never Lose Gloves Again.
My love for design began in 7th grade, when I sewed a wrap-around skirt and matching top that was proudly displayed in my school showcase. That moment lit a spark in me. Over the years, life took me through marriage, motherhood, and many personal challenges but the passion for creating never left. Inspired by Diana Ross in Mahogany, I decided to fully pursue fashion design, studying at Tracy Warner in Philadelphia and later graduating from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) in Los Angeles.
The idea for GLOV N came from a simple real-life moment: watching kids and even adults constantly pulling their sleeves over their hands to stay warm. Gloves get lost, dropped, forgotten, or mismatched. Parents spend money replacing them, and kids come home with freezing hands. I thought, There has to be a better way.
That’s when I created a solution: a comfortable, practical glove that stays attached to the sleeve, designed to move naturally with the body. After years of development, refinement, and testing, I received my U.S. Utility Patent (No. 11,589,626)  protecting the innovative system behind GLOV N.
Today, GLOV N is more than a product; it’s a mission. A mission to make everyday life easier for families, to keep children warm, and to solve a problem almost everyone has experienced.
