GLOV N® for Uniform, Tactical & Public-Safety Evaluation

Patented Apparel Technology for Uniform, Tactical and Public-Safety Evaluation

GLOV N® is patented apparel-integrated glove technology available for licensing to qualified uniform suppliers, public-safety apparel companies, tactical clothing manufacturers, military-apparel suppliers, and product-development teams. The hand covering stores in a flap-like sleeve pocket, unfolds onto the hand when needed, and remains attached to the garment.

Organizations serving demanding uniform and duty markets may evaluate whether the system has a place in an appropriate garment category and operating environment.

Potential Areas for Evaluation

  • Cold-weather uniform outerwear
  • Selected public-safety garments
  • Selected tactical and field apparel
  • Military clothing concepts subject to applicable procurement, testing, and qualification requirements

Questions for Technical Product Teams

Evaluation should begin with the intended user, task, and environment. Product teams may need to assess dexterity, range of motion, sleeve and cuff construction, sizing, layering, equipment compatibility, materials, durability, laundering, donning and stowing behavior, and manufacturing feasibility.

Where a role requires separately certified protective gloves or other PPE, the partner must determine how any integrated hand covering would interact with those requirements.

Important Qualification Boundary

GLOV N® does not claim military adoption, government approval, agency certification, ballistic protection, flame resistance, cut resistance, occupational PPE certification, or other protective performance for these potential applications. Any such requirement would need to be established through the appropriate product-development, procurement, qualification, and testing process for the finished product.

Patent and Licensing

The GLOV N® system is protected by U.S. Utility Patent No. 11,589,626 B2, titled Apparel with integrated gloves. Review the patent information and published-record resources.

Qualified organizations may discuss licensing by suitable category, market, channel, or territory. No rights are granted until a written licensing agreement is signed.
