Review GLOV N® Patent Information
Is GLOV N® technology available for licensing?
Yes. GLOV N L.L.C. is focused on licensing the patented technology to qualified companies that want to evaluate it for appropriate apparel products, categories, markets, or territories.
Who should request a licensing conversation?
Apparel brands, garment manufacturers, uniform suppliers, private-label providers, licensing teams, product developers, and other established organizations may request a conversation when the technology may fit an existing or planned product line.
Which apparel categories may be evaluated?
Potential categories include outerwear, cold-weather apparel, workwear, uniforms, outdoor and performance apparel, kidswear and family apparel, public-safety garments, military and tactical apparel, commuter clothing, adaptive apparel, and selected sports or fan apparel.
How does the integrated glove system work?
The hand covering stores at the sleeve opening, unfolds from the sleeve onto the hand, and can be returned to its storage position when no longer needed. See the GLOV N® demonstration.
What should a product-development team evaluate?
Evaluation can include garment construction, sleeve and cuff design, pocket placement, sizing, materials, comfort, hand movement, care requirements, intended use, durability, manufacturing methods, and any testing or regulatory requirements that apply to the finished product.
Are the potential applications already certified for protective use?
No. Application examples are potential uses of the patented concept. They do not represent tested or certified protective equipment, military qualification, agency approval, or a performance certification. A licensing partner is responsible for evaluating and testing its finished product for the intended market and use.
Can a company use its own brand name?
Potential licensing structures can be discussed for a partner's own approved products and brand architecture. Any right to use the GLOV N® trademark would be addressed separately in the written agreement when applicable.
Can licensing be discussed by product category, market, or territory?
Yes. Flexible licensing structures may be discussed by category, market, channel, and territory, subject to negotiation and a signed written agreement.
Does submitting an inquiry grant permission to use the technology?
No. A website inquiry, meeting, product review, or discussion does not grant patent or trademark rights. Specific rights are granted only through a signed written licensing agreement.
Should confidential information be submitted with the first inquiry?
No. Send only a short, nonconfidential overview initially. If confidential discussion becomes necessary, review the Confidential Information & NDA Requests page before sharing confidential, proprietary, or trade-secret information.
How do we start?
Tell us your company, role, product category, intended market or territory, and the product line you are considering. Linda Carter, Founder and CEO and creator and patent holder of GLOV N®, will review the inquiry.
